Founded by Dr. Robbie Hamblin, Brookside Dental has proudly served the Nampa community since 2002. In July 2022, his son, Dr. Jared Hamblin, joined the practice — continuing a family legacy built on integrity, compassion, and exceptional care. Together, this father-and-son team blends experience with innovation, combining time-tested techniques and the latest dental technology to create a truly patient-centered experience.

Known for their gentle approach and advanced clinical skills, Dr. Robbie and Dr. Jared provide comprehensive, personalized care — from preventive services and modern fillings to implants, crowns, and bridges. They use advanced digital imaging, precise diagnostic tools, and minimally invasive techniques to ensure every treatment is comfortable, effective, and tailored to each patient’s needs.

At Brookside Dental, our hygiene team brings over 25 years of combined experience helping patients achieve healthier, brighter smiles. Passionate about care that goes far beyond clean teeth, our hygienists focus on prevention, education, and the vital connection between oral health and overall wellness.

Every visit is designed to be comfortable, thorough, and personalized. Using the latest technology, our hygienists tailor care to your individual needs — from digital X-rays based on your risk level and advanced laser therapy for periodontal health to the Florida Probe system for precise gum assessments and AI-enhanced radiographs for early detection. Intraoral photos help you see what we see, making your care more transparent and collaborative.

We also offer comfort-driven options, including numbing rinses and gels for cleanings, desensitizing agents for sensitivity, and TMJ massage techniques to ease tension. For preventive care, patients can choose between traditional fluoride or fluoride-free options featuring nano-hydroxyapatite for enamel strengthening.

Dr. Robbie Hamblin, DMD

Robbie Hamblin, DMD, is the owner of Brookside Dental in Nampa, Idaho, and a trusted dentist across the community. He and his team of dental professionals strive to welcome patients into a relaxing environment where they can improve their health and appearance with gentle treatments. 

When Dr. Hamblin was 16-years-old, his uncle, a dentist, performed dental work on him that he found comfortable and unintimidating. At that point, he realized that he could make a difference in dentistry for patients like himself and take the anxiety out of everything dental––from cavity fillings to extensive procedures, like tooth extractions. He has advanced education in IV conscious sedation and serves as an evaluator for the state board. 

Dr. Hamblin earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 1995. After meeting his wife there, they moved to Portland, Oregon, to attend dental school at Oregon Health and Science University and earn their respective degrees. 

Following the completion of his education, Dr. Hamblin spent three years of Army service in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, on a scholarship. After completing his service, he moved his family to Nampa, Idaho, to open his private practice in 1998. 

He and his wife of 31 years have five children and four grandchildren. They love spending time as a family, playing basketball, biking, running, creating music, and paddleboarding. Dr. Robbie also plays piano and guitar, and he helps coach high school track and cross country. 

Dr. Jared Hamblin, DDS

Dr. Jared Hamblin is one of our dentists and co-owner, as well as Dr. Robbie Hamblin's son. Dr. Jared earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Dalhousie University in May of 2021. He then completed a residency program in Pocatello, ID through ISU before joining our practice in July of 2022. 

Dr. Jared provides all general dentistry services, including general family dentistry, crowns and bridges, and cosmetic dentistry. He received training through his residency at Idaho Advanced Education in General Dentistry and has a particular interest in dental implants and sedation dentistry.  

My goal as a dentist is to make this experience as pleasant as possible. I understand it's not everybody's favorite thing to come see us, so I strive to make the experience as smooth as I possibly can. 

My favorite thing about dentistry is the all the different aspects of dentistry. Dentistry is a great combination of the science of the human body, the art of creating beautiful smiles, and the opportunity to work with all kinds of people. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Jared is happily married and the father of two young children, Grayson and Charlotte, and cockapoo named Milo. He and his family often spend their time exploring the great outdoors, trying new foods, and road biking. 

Mariah

Hygienist

Mariah joined Brookside Dental part-time in August 2024 and became a full-time team member in April 2025. She loves helping patients feel comfortable and confident about their oral health, building trust, and seeing the difference regular care can make in someone’s smile and overall health. A fun fact about her is that she loves wearing fun hair clips. Outside of work, she enjoys going on hikes with her family and taking in the beauty of Idaho. What always brings her a smile is easing a patient’s fears and helping them feel comfortable at the dentist. One word to describe Mariah is bubbly, reflecting her cheerful and energetic personality.

Amber

Hygienist

Amber has been a valued member of the Brookside Dental family since 2018. With her warm personality and genuine care for others, she takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable while improving their oral health. Amber loves building lasting relationships and enjoys seeing the positive impact that healthy smiles can have on confidence and overall well-being. As a child, she dreamed of becoming either a country singer (though she’ll admit she can’t quite carry a tune) or a veterinarian—her love for animals clearly stuck! Puppies and kittens, a beautiful sunrise, and a big BSU football win never fail to make her smile. One word that perfectly describes Amber is adventurous—she’s always up for trying new things, exploring new places, and bringing positive energy wherever she goes.

Amanda

Hygienist

Amanda has been with Brookside Dental since 2020 and graduated from Carrington College Boise in 2017. She loves getting to know patients and helping them achieve complete health. A fun fact about her is that she was born and raised in Idaho and worked as a pharmacy tech for 10 years before attending hygiene school. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, working out, and walking her dogs, Penny and Apollo. What always brings her a smile is being surrounded by flowers, spending time outdoors in the mountains, and being with family and pets. Coworkers would describe her as supportive, reflecting her caring and dependable nature.

Jennifer

Hygienist

Jennifer has been a valued member of Brookside Dental for 4 years. She loves encouraging individuals to love their smiles and seeing how improving oral health can positively impact overall health. A fun fact about her is that she holds a group fitness certificate and a youth development certificate, and she also hosts charity events for nonprofits. Outside of work, she enjoys watching movies and birding with her husband and in-laws. What always brings her a smile is being outside to enjoy sunrises or sunsets and seeing people take care of their teeth and gums. One word to describe her is fun sized, reflecting her short stature and playful, energetic personality.

Amy

Dental Assistant

Amy has been part of the Brookside Dental team since 2017. With her strong clinical skills and compassionate nature, she loves helping patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. Her favorite part of working in dentistry is treating infections and helping patients regain their oral health—especially those who may feel nervous at first. Amy takes pride in earning their trust and celebrating each milestone along the way. A fun fact about her is that she even scales, brushes, and flosses her dogs’ teeth! Outside of work, Amy enjoys all things creative—whether it’s woodworking, painting, sculpting, or drawing. What always makes her smile? Every time she sees a dog. One word that perfectly describes Amy is passionate—she pours her heart into everything she does, both in and out of the office.

Alondra

Dental Assistant

Alondra joined the Brookside Dental team in May of 2025 and has quickly become a friendly and calming presence in the office. Her favorite part of working in dentistry is getting to meet and interact with different people each day while helping them feel comfortable during moments that can sometimes feel a little scary. A fun fact about Alondra is that she’s an avid reader—she read an incredible 105 books last year! Outside of work, she loves spending time outdoors fishing and camping with her family. What never fails to make her smile is her husband and kids. One word her coworkers would use to describe Alondra is giggly—her cheerful laugh and positive energy brighten everyone’s day.

Cassidy

Dental Assistant

Cassidy has been a valued member of the Brookside Dental team for 2 years. Her favorite part of working in dentistry is helping patients who are afraid of the dentist overcome their fears and feel comfortable receiving the care they need. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, camping, fishing, and hiking during the summer, and snowboarding in the winter. Her favorite animals include lizards, dogs, and frogs. What always brings a smile to her face is spending time with friends and family and seeing people give back to the community. One word to describe Cassidy is a “silly goose,” reflecting her fun and lighthearted personality.

Taylor

Dental Assistant

Taylor has been with Brookside Dental for 3 years. She loves working with what she considers the best patients, keeping things running smoothly for the hygienists, and completing majority of the lab work. A fun fact about her is that she is a Nampa native, incredibly crafty and creative, and she’s always rocking the cutest space buns. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family or exploring the outdoors with her husband. What always brings her a smile is just about everything, her cheerful personality makes it rare to see her without a grin. One word to describe her is a MacGyver, reflecting her resourceful, clever, and hands-on nature, always ready to tackle any challenge with creativity and a smile.

Hailey

Doctor Coordinator

Hailey has been with Brookside Dental for a year and half. She loves helping people and making a positive difference in their dental care, especially when she can ease their fears and help them feel comfortable before going back to the dental chair. A fun fact about her is that she did theater for 5 years and recently got married on August 30th, 2025 on the Oregon Coast. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors soaking up the sun. What always brings her a smile is being outside in the sunshine and enjoying nature’s beauty. One word to describe her is reliable (phone-a-friend), reflecting her dependable and thoughtful personality.

Vanessa

Patient Coordinator

Vanessa has been with Brookside Dental since May 2025, and she previously worked as a dental assistant for 2 years. She loves helping her patients gain confidence and getting to know them personally, making them feel comfortable and proud of their smiles. A fun fact about her is that she loves the color pink, rain, and dinosaurs, highlighting her playful and unique personality. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and all kinds of fall-time activities, especially those that allow her to enjoy the beauty of nature. What always brings her a smile are sunsets, the outdoors, and the cozy vibes of autumn. One word to describe her is ambition-driven, reflecting her persistent, goal-oriented, and highly motivated personality.
